調試信息可幫助攻擊者了解系統和制定攻擊計劃。
通過對 ASP .NET 應用程序的配置，系統可以生成調試二進制碼。這些二進制碼提供了詳細的調試信息，它們不能用在生產環境中。<compilation> 標簽的 debug 屬性定義了已編譯的二進制碼是否應包含調試信息。
應用程序可使用調試二進制碼為用戶提供盡可能多的有關自身的信息。調試二進制碼只能用于開發或者測試環境中，如果它們被部署到生產環境中，將會對安全造成危險。攻擊者可以利用他們從調試輸出中獲得的更多信息來發動針對應用程序所用的框架、數據庫或其他資源的攻擊。
