            Heap Inspection: Swappable Memory

            ABSTRACT

            不要使用 VirtualLock 來鎖定包含敏感數據的頁面。因為該函數并不總會執行。

            EXPLANATION

            當敏感數據(如密碼或加密密鑰)因為沒有從內存中刪除而被泄漏給攻擊者時,就會發生 Heap inspection 漏洞。

            VirtualLock 函數旨在鎖定內存中的頁面,以防這些頁面在磁盤上被標注頁碼。然而,在 Windows 95/98/ME 操作系統上,這一函數僅作為樁函數使用,因而不會產生什么影響。
